Day 10.  354 miles.  Stated out cool.  Got to 80 in the valley and the back to low 70's at South Lake Tahoe.

Saw Lassen Volcanic NP.  Nice ride through the park.  Had pretty good visibility in the park.  On stop was like a mini Yellowstone.  Sulfur smelling mud pot.

After the park was just a long ride.  In and out of smoke.  Skirted the edge of a fire that was this month.Highway 70 west of Susanville.  It was out, is why we were able to take this route.  Today was the one that we had to pick our roads carefully to make sure we did not have to back track.

Too bad Lake Tahoe was at the end of the day as we were both ready to check in at the motel. Could have done a few side roads, but the traffic was painfully slow and NO way to pass.
